Exploring the Science of Global Living Systems & Endobiogeny

Theory and Overview

Learn about the scientific foundations of Global Living Systems and Endobiogeny

The theory of Endobiogeny, presented in 1980 by Christian Duraffourd, MD, is a neuroendocrine model explaining how disease comes about. His whole-person approach identified root causes of illness rather than focusing solely on mechanisms. “Root Cause” refers to the imbalances of metabolic regulators: nervous system, hormones, and digestive/detoxification glands.

Global Living Systems Theory (GLST)

A theoretical, integrated, scientific expression of Endobiogeny

Global Living Systems Theory (GLST) was developed by Kamyar M. Hedayat, MD in the 2010’s. It is a theoretical and mathematical formalization of endobiogeny in order to place it in the cannon of systems medicine. It expands the boundaries of investigations to include new features of physiology and psychology, and the individual’s interaction with social systems and their environment.

GLST is the theoretical, scientific expression of Endobiogeny that integrates our discoveries into the community of researchers. Endobiogeny is the practical, clinical expression of GLST that integrates into the community of practitioner and patients.

SBRG’s research goes beyond conventional thinking to ask questions no one is asking and discovering answers no one thought possible. Our research has been conducted free of any potential limitations by public funding or industry interests. The science comes first, ahead of all other considerations.
