GEMMA provides a 360 degree approach by extracting information

Studies have shown that biomarkers can reveal more information about your patient’s disease state when they are
contextualized through ratios, e.g. Total/free testosterone, BUN/Creatinine, CD4/CD8, or Hematocrit (RBC/Hemoglobin).

GEMMA does not replace your standard biomarker evaluation. It need not replace your preferred functional lab testing
options either. These tests are quantitative measurements of several biomarkers that are typically analyzed by the
standard binary approach of normal or abnormal. GEMMA is a modeling system that demonstrates the relationships
between several factors simultaneously. For example, one can order quantitative four point salivary cortisol and a GEMMA
adrenal balance panel modeling the average daily functional tissue-level activity of cortisol. Together the two tests
enhance the insight between cortisol output from the adrenal cortex and cortisol efficacy at the tissue level.

Adrenal Balance
Get a functional evaluation of cortisol, adrenal androgens and adrenaline without directly measuring adrenal hormones. The panel is inexpensive, ready in 24 hours after blood draw, and can be repeated frequently. It is recommended to assess and follow treatment response for fatigue, insomnia, depression, migraines, recurrent infections and more.
Allergic Tendency
